Nilko Andreas was Awarded the 4th Anual "Premio Arte" NYC 2009
Premio Arte was created in 2006 to recognize the Hispanic Arts in the United States. Premio Arte is awarded annually to Hispanic Artists in Plastic Arts, Theatre & Dance, Music & Song and Poetry & Literature. This was the IV Premio Arte Awards.
On this night they had a special homage to the legendary Puerto Rican Singer Bobby Cap who passed away in 1989. They also had a Life Time Achievement Award for Nereo Lpez Meza the famous photographer. and the revelation award was given to Concert Guitarist Nilko Andreas, In Attendance was the Famous Writer Arturo Alvarez. Awards were presented to the recipients by celebrity host Luis Velasco & Xiomara Taveras Enriquez.
